We offer leasing options for propane tanks of various sizes, depending on your needs. Leasing is the most hassle-free choice, as we handle maintenance and inspections. You’ll also receive free digital monitoring and Autofill services with every J.J. Propane tank lease, as well as the option to enroll in Prebuy.

We offer both automatic delivery and will-call service. With our Autofill program, we track your usage remotely with a digital monitor at no charge to you and schedule refills before you run low. Autofill is our most popular option because customers never have to worry about forgetting to place an order or running out of propane.
Our will-call service gives you the flexibility to request propane when you need it – just be sure to give us a few days notice. Most will-call customers opt to refill when their tank reaches 30%.

Absolutely! Propane is great for indoor heating, but it’s also a safe, economical choice for water heaters, cooking, clothes drying, fireplaces, generators, and even outdoor living spaces like grills and heated swimming pools.

If you’re worried about a sky-high propane bill during the holidays, we have a couple of easy options. The first is Prebuy, where you purchase a winter’s worth of propane during the summer when demand and prices are lower, then leave the rest to us. We’ll track your usage and automatically deliver pre-purchased propane October 1st through April 30th. Any pre-purchased propane still unused on May 1st converts to a credit on your account.
The second option to provide more predictable utility bills is Even Pay, where we spread your propane costs evenly over 12 months. We’ll estimate your anticipated usage for the year based on multiple factors, then split that into even monthly payments. We’ll also reassess your usage every quarter to be sure we’re on track, so you don’t get a higher bill at the end of the year.
It’s worth noting that Prebuy is open to customers who own their own tank or lease one from J.J. Propane. Even Pay is only available to customers who lease a J.J. Propane tank and enroll in Autofill, where we track your propane usage remotely with a digital monitor at no charge to you and deliver refills before you run low.

If you feel it’s safe, shut off the valve at your propane tank to stop the propane flow into your home, then call 911 or your local fire department. Once you’re safe, please call us. Safety is our top priority, and we’re available 24/7 for emergencies.
